On November 22, 2006 this amazing 150" class 11-point showed up on our web cam.
This is extremely uncommon for a deer of this size to be seen during the day, and quite exciting to see live!

About our Unique Wildlife WebCam

Come watch some amazing wildlife. There is action all day long. The PixController Wildlife WebCam is a truly unique camera system. There are several video cameras sending signals to the PixController Wildlife WebCam. Motion activated remote video cameras deep in the woods can be switched on at any moment showing wildlife action like no other webcam in you've ever seen!

The video signal you are viewing will be updated once every 2 seconds, but can be adjustable from a 2 second frame rate up to a 5 minute frame rate. Adjust the video rate per your internet connection. Faster internet connections such as DSL can update the video rate faster than a dial-up connection.

The PixController Wildlife WebCam is a truly unique camera system. There are several video cameras sending signals to the PixController Wildlife WebCam. The main camera, which is on all of the time, sends a live signal to the base station/video servers about 100 feet away. This video camera is connected to an A/C power source.

Currently there are 3 other remote wireless video cameras which are up to a mile away from the base station that are battery powered and charged via a solar panel. More remote video cameras will be added in the future. These video cameras are switched on when motion is detected such as when an animal in front of the camera. When this happens the base station will sense this incoming video signal and switch the live video feed to this remote camera. The remote video signal will be present as long as the animal is in front of the camera.

When the remote cameras are turned on the initial video frame is captured and the photo is sent to a web site for everyone to view.
Click here to see the most recent photos. This photo is also sent via email to our PC and Cell phone so we can instantly come to the webcam and view the remote signal. Lastly, the remote video signal is captured to tape for review at a later time.

The remote video cameras will be moved through out the seasons to show different wildlife habitats such as animal dens in the spring and whitetail scraping sites in the fall.

The video cameras used in our webcam will switch to full color at day and IR at night so that it won't spook the animals. The most active times at the feeder are in the mornings and throughout the night. You can view an array of wildlife from whitetail deer, turkey, raccoons, birds, squirrels, and much more!
