About the Black Bear Den Webcam
This is first ever streaming live webcam with audio & video installed in an active black bear den. The site of this den is near Ely, MN and about 30 miles south of Canada.

This custom webcam was designed by PixController, Inc. and shipped to Ely, MN. The webcam was and installed at the bear den site on January 8, 2010.

The bear in the den is named Lily and she is 3 years old. On January 22, 2010 Lily gave birth to her cub Hope with over 25,000 viewers watching live. Lily's birth was the #1 Yahoo.com featured story - Jan 23, 2010, Lily's YouTube Birth Video was the #1 most viewed video on Jan 24, 2010.
