Introduction
The most basic sensor of
any alarm system is a door and window magnetic contact
switch. This type of contact switch is for normally closed
circuits; this means that the when the magnets are lined up,
the switch is closed. This type of setup is ideal for
monitoring doors, windows, and sliding doors. Measuring
2.48" long and half an inch high, they attach with wood or
sheet metal screws (not included) to the frame of the door
or window and the case or jam. When the magnetic contacts
are moved 3/4" apart they will trigger the camera system.
The wireless magnetic switch sensor comes with a 16' fly
lead cable that is connected to the transmitting tube.
The transmission tube will
transmit trigger a event to the receiving camera unit. Long
range and low power digital RF (radio frequency)
transmission ensures transmission through thick foliage for
outdoor applications and walls for indoor applications. The
transmitter tube can be setup to transmit four unique
digital address codes.
The transmission tube
electronics were designed to be extremely battery efficient.
Using 3 standard AAA alkaline batteries the transmitter can
be used in the field up to one year with standard use.
The small packaging of the wireless transmitter makes it
ideal for covert applications. The transmitter housing is
made from rugged PVC plastic which is completely weather
proof. There is a ¼-20” mounting hole on the bottom of the
transmitter which can be used with standard bullet
camera-type tri pod mounts.
.

Transmitter tube includes
1/4-20" mounting hole. Can be mounted on small
bullet camera tripod mounts. |
