The Direct RSS PixController is a complete electronic kit to construct a Wildlife Trail
Camera System, or Remote Camera Security System.
The Direct RSS PixController uses a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor which detects body
heat and motion to trigger the camera system. The built
in day/night sensor lets you control taking photos in the day,
night, or 24 hours.
The
Direct RSS PixController controls the "Refresh" and
"Shutter" controls of your Digital/35 mm
camera. These controls are hardwired to the board.
There is also a port to control any "Slave" external
light (either a Flood light, or IR LED Array).
The User Switch Settings let you adjust the delay between
photos, fast and normal shutter modes, day/night operation,
taking digital stills, movies or double photo mode, and setup
the Walk-Test PIR mode.
Attach
"hardwired" Camera Devices such as the Olympus D-370 or D-380 Digital
Cameras, or the Canon Owl PF 35 MM Camera, and many more!
With a recommended 4 C Cell battery supply you will get approximately
8+ months of continuous use.
