Building a basic Digital Camera
Unit
Building a basic digital camera
system using the X10 Wireless PIR sensor and the PixController
RF receiver controller board can take many forms. This is shown
in the photo examples to the right. It includes a Pelican 1040 case, Sony DSC-S600 digital
camera, PixController RF controller, and a 4 AA battery supply
to power the RF controller. Note, this is only one example and
camera units can take many forms and shapes.

w/ Sony S40/S600-RF PIC chip

Building a basic Video Camera
Unit
The example video unit we
constructed as shown in the photos to the right consists of a
Pelican 1300 case with a PixController RF board with LANC-RF PIC
chip connected to a Sony LANC camcorder via a 2.5mm cable. We
also wired in a IR LED Array using a 12V SLA battery.
Parts used in unit shown:
