Connecting Cameras
Camera Port
The Camera Port on the PixController LE
board is a solder port, which means you will need to solder wires from the
camera or cable connecting to the camera into this port. The Camera Port
is J1 and J2 on the PixController LE board as shown below.
|

Ports J2 and J1 shown
above.
|
Port
Overview
The camera port is where you will connect your camera. Each camera
connects to the camera port in a different way. The camera port
provides connections for hardwired cameras, and plug-n-play cameras
such as the Sony LANC camcorders, and Sony ACC-Terminal.
For LANC and ACC-Terminal you will need to solder in one end of your
2.5mm cable into the LANC and Ground connections. More information
on this is listed below in the camera chart.
For hardwired cameras you will wire the shutter, refresh, or power
on/off contacts here. Information is listed below for each camera
setup and wiring locations in the camera chart.
The external light is also wired into the Camera Port. Not every
camera mode supports the external light. Information on external
light wiring is listed below in the camera chart. |
|
Camera Chart
Below is the "Camera Chart". To setup the camera mode please
select the camera you plan to attach with the DIP
switch setting on your PixController LE board. For more information on
